On behalf of a wide range of clients, Waypoint manages over £1bn of real estate assets across a variety of real estate sectors, with specialist teams operating in the residential, healthcare, long income and convenience retail sectors.
Waypoint has extensive experience in the analysis and acquisition of long income real estate on behalf of UK pension funds and overseas investors. We have built portfolios for clients across a range of long income assets ranging from ground rents via income strips to conventional long leased properties. We pride ourselves on our ability to carry out complex modelling and the analysis of both the credit and real estate fundamentals of an investment opportunity.
Waypoint has been operating in this sub-sector of the retail market since its inception and the founders have been active in the market since 2005. Over the years, the team has built up a deep understanding of the needs of convenience retailers across a range of target locations including retail parks, community shopping centres, neighbourhood centres and parades. Operating throughout the UK, Waypoint has established an extensive network of regional advisors giving us unrivalled access to investment opportunities and the ability to maximise the value of these smaller assets.
Along with our institutional investment partners, we provide services across the entire residential spectrum, advising on existing projects to those at the ideas stage. From inception to completion and beyond we boast particular expertise in:
- single family housing
- purpose-built student accommodation
- energy transition
- development and investment
- distressed residential debt
Our clients range from domestic and international investors to family offices and we use our extensive experience to innovate, helping our clients achieve their sustainable objectives.
Waypoint Health Property is a joint venture between the Waypoint Group and Blenheim Asset Management and is appointed to acquire and manage healthcare real estate on behalf of Waypoint’s institutional clients.
It is focused on the growing UK healthcare real estate market, with specialist knowledge of primary care. Since its formation, the team has built up a portfolio of value-add primary healthcare assets on behalf of one client and has subsequently acquired further assets and grown a £75m portfolio of GP surgeries for a UK-based institutional investor.
