Waypoint is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Kenney, who has joined the firm’s Real Estate Finance business as a consultant in an advisory capacity, complementing his broader portfolio of business interests.

Michael brings over 35 years’ experience in the banking sector, with a particular focus on real estate finance.  Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Head of UK Business Development at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, where he led the London-based team responsible for originating large – ticket commercial property loans for corporate, private equity and institutional investors. 

Throughout his career, Michael has advised on and executed a wide range of banking transactions across the UK and Europe, navigating multiple property cycles. His experience spans the office, retail, industrial, logistics and rented residential sectors, covering both development and investment financing, often within complex and structured transactions.

Waypoint looks forward to benefiting from Michael’s extensive market knowledge, strategic insight and depth of experience as the firm continues to grow its Real Estate Finance platform.
