Waypoint advises New Frontier Properties Ltd, a UK REIT listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius and Alternative Exchange of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, on all corporate, finance, investment and property matters.

Between April and September 2015, New Frontier acquired three UK assets: Burton, Middlesbrough and Blackpool shopping centres for a combined £281 million. Waypoint was instrumental in these acquisitions advising on and implementing the corporate structure, sourcing and negotiating the debt finance, participating in the capital raise and performing the property due diligence. Since acquisition, Waypoint’s specialist shopping centre asset management and development teams having been helping to deliver a stabilised income stream and performance for New Frontier’s shareholders.

In October 2016, New Frontier refined its strategy and began acquiring logistics assets within Europe. Waypoint is providing deal origination, stock selection and acquisition advice as well as advice on corporate structuring and sourcing, securing and structuring single currency and multi-currency facilities from national and international banks. To date, Waypoint has advised New Frontier on acquisitions of logistics properties in Ireland, Germany, Austria, Poland and Slovakia.
