Waypoint Asset Management is acquiring and asset managing properties for a number of funds specialising in the convenience retail market, including:

Local Retail Fund

An unlisted fund managed on behalf of clients of Schroder Real Estate Investment Management which invests in retail parades and local shopping centres. Initial fund investment of £75m to August 2014 and evergreen thereafter.

Wayshop Fund

A £50m joint venture that Waypoint manages on behalf of Revcap and Richardsons Capital. The fund invests in value-added opportunities in the neighbourhood retail sector. The fund is still in its investment phase.

Local Parade Investments LLP

A £50m joint venture in which Waypoint co-invests with Pramerica Real Estate Investors in the neighbourhood retail sector. Waypoint is currently implementing an active programme of asset enhancement initiatives prior to an eventual sale.
