Waypoint invests £3m in South Wales on behalf of institutional client

Waypoint Asset Management springs up in South Wales with the purchase of a portfolio comprising three retail parades in Caerphilly, Llanelli and Newport. The properties were acquired from a private owner on behalf of an institutional client for a combined price of £3,000,000.

Newport Retail Parade comprises a purpose built scheme with dedicated parking fronting a busy arterial road one mile from the city centre. Key tenants include Subway, Betfred, Vets4Pets and Papa John's.

Castle View Parade, Caerphilly offers a modern single storey block situated in a busy neighbourhood area let to Domino’s and Vets4Pets.

The final scheme, Crown Parade Llanelli benefits from a strong position adjacent to Aldi and includes three retail units, with Subway and Domino’s as tenants.

Nick Gregory, director of Waypoint Asset Management said: “This new portfolio offers an attractive income stream from a strong line-up of national occupiers and adds diversity to the regional spread of assets in the fund.”
